Pupils from St Mary’s CE Primary School took part in a number of inspiring activities organised by Reception teacher, Sinead Cope, as part of World Environment Day on 5 June.
Children from across the school have written messages to show their understanding of World Environment Day – and these have been proudly displayed in school.
“The planet must be saved!”
“I think we must save the environment otherwise lots of animals will die.”
“I think we should stop putting plastic in the ocean because sea creatures are eating the plastic.”
They have also worked energetically to create their very own ‘Planet Protector Octopus’ out of recycled materials, which now guards the school car park!
