Gordano School Eco Club Update

Gordano School Eco club has been working hard this term on the numerous projects they are running. Students were able to take their home-grown sunflowers home to brighten up their rooms, as well as some very tasty raspberries planted by the students who stayed on site during the first lockdown.

In November, the school received 140 free trees from the Woodland Trust which were planted around the school to mark the start of the COP 26 Climate Summit. Students have also been working on the launch of a new school green award, which students will be able to work towards by demonstrating their commitment to the environment and sustainability.
