Lighthouse Schools Partnership: Model Safeguarding and Child Protection Policy. You also need to ensure you have seen the Safeguarding Policy specifically for your school site.

Department for Education: Keeping Children Safe in Education 2025 (at least Part 1)

All staff must have awareness of the following documents:

Working Together to Safeguard Children (December 2023). 

Guidance for Safer Working Practices 2022. 

All staff must have also completed the following training in September 2025:

Annual Safeguarding Refresher Training from your Designated Safeguarding Lead.

New staff will need to complete full Prevent and Safeguarding training before signing the safeguarding declaration. 

Once you have read these documents please ensure you complete the Annual Declaration for LSP Staff via ESS Staff Portal: iTrent

All LSP Governors and Trustees need to read through the following documents and complete the Annual Declaration.

Department for Education: Keeping Children Safe in Education 2025 (the entire document)

Lighthouse Schools Partnership: Model Safeguarding and Child Protection Policy. You also need to ensure you have seen the Safeguarding Policy specifically for your school(s) site. This will be brought to the first LGB meeting of the academic year.

Prevent Refresher Training (online training) if you do not do this in September 2024.

New governors need to complete full Prevent and Safeguarding training before signing the safeguarding declaration linked below.
