Education Trustees come from all backgrounds and sectors, bringing either professional expertise or lived experience that helps the Board make informed decisions. While a passion for education and future generations is essential, you don’t need prior experience in the education sector to become a trustee.

Lighthouse School Partnership (LSP) is a high performing mixed, Church of England and Community multi-academy trust.  It is made up of 30 primary schools and four secondary schools across Bristol, North Somerset, Bath and North East Somerset (BANES).

Our Trust Board thrives on the richness and diversity of our community, and we’re looking for individuals who reflect this to join us as trustees. As we enter an exciting new phase of development, we remain dedicated to delivering high-quality education built on expertise, collaboration, and integrity. Operating across Bristol, North Somerset, Bath and North East Somerset, our mission is to ensure that every child and young person can thrive and flourish

The Board of Trustees meets ten times a year, with additional opportunities to contribute through committees and panels. All Trustees are volunteers who generously give their time, expertise, and passion to guide and support Lighthouse Schools Partnership in delivering high-quality education.

Trustees play a vital role in shaping the strategy and governance of our schools, and their contributions are central to our ongoing success. We greatly value the insight, commitment, and diverse perspectives that our Trustees bring, helping every child and young person to thrive.

The closing date for applications 9.00am Friday 9 January 2026.
