    Gordano School Eco club has been working hard this term on the numerous projects they are running. Students were able to take their home-grown sunflowers home to brighten up their rooms, as well as some very tasty raspberries planted by the students who stayed on site during the first lockdown.

  • Give a Little Love Campaign helps schools​

    A big thank to Waitrose & Partners for donating £500 in gift vouchers to our Portishead hub schools as part of their Give a Little Love Campaign which aims to make a lasting difference to those in need.

    The vouchers will go towards providing food and equipment for pupils that need it most or otherwise wouldn't be able to take part in a school activity.

  • Gordano pupil scores starring role in the musical Priscilla Queen of the Desert

    Congratulations to Gordano Pupil Daniel Shorrock who secured and performed the role of Benji, in Priscilla Queen of The Desert. Daniel shared the role with one other actor and the two of them were the only child actors in an all adult cast.

    Daniel has already performed the role in Bath Theatre Royal in July and performed in New Theatre, Cardiff and Bristol Hippodrome during September and October.

    The Priscilla Queen of the Desert UK Tour is Based on the Oscar winning movie, PRISCILLA. It is the hilarious and heart-warming adventure of three friends who hop aboard a battered old bus bound for the Outback to put on the show of a lifetime.
