Time Machine at High Down
As part of their Great Fire of London writing activity in Year Two, High Down infants were busy writing questions for Thomas Farriner, Pudding Lane bakery owner and potential fire starter, when their time machine spat out not one but THREE Thomas Farriners!
All denied any involvement in starting the fire and were thrilled to learn about the modern world, including electricity, lights, and why children were at school and not out cleaning chimneys!
