Guidance and Support for Parents

Understanding Policies

We encourage all parents /carers to take time to read the policies available on our website. These documents are designed to give you a clear understanding of how our schools operate, the standards we uphold, and the processes we follow to support pupils and families.

When reviewing our policies, you may find it helpful to:

  • Focus on sections most relevant to your child or your concern
  • Take note of any procedures, timelines, or expectations outlined
  • Make a note of anything that is unclear or you would like further explanation on

We understand that some policies can be detailed or use formal language. If you are unsure about any part of a document, please do not hesitate to ask for help. Our staff are always happy to explain policies, answer questions, or guide you through the information.

Supporting You to Raise Questions, Concerns or Complaints

We are committed to working in partnership with our parents and carers to ensure the very best for every child. Open communication is at the heart of this, and we want you to feel confident that any concerns or complaints will be listened to and responded to fairly.

To support you in doing this, we have a range of policies and guidance documents in place. These outline the steps you can take if you have a concern, how concerns are managed, and what you can expect from us throughout the process.

Our procedures are designed to be clear, straightforward, and supportive and will always aim to resolve issues quickly, respectfully, and at the earliest possible stage.

We encourage parents and carers to speak with the school in the first instance, as many concerns can be addressed informally. However, if you feel that further action is needed, our formal complaints process is there to ensure your concerns are fully considered.
